DiNi Communication’s
consultants were involved with
several recovery projects for
the City of New York. One of the
projects was for the New York
City Fire Department where our
engineers worked around the
clock, seven days a week to get
all of the circuits up and
running. They reported to the
FDNY on 9/11 to begin restoring
their network.
DiNi Communications has been
committed to Disaster Recovery
and Contingency Planning. Most
recently as a result of the
September 11, 2001 World Trade
Center Disaster, our
consultants were directly
involved with providing the City
of New York with the required
Disaster Recovery services for
the construction of the Office
of Emergency Management
Services' Emergency Command
Center at Pier 92 and the Family
Assistance Center at Pier 94.
The City's EOC operational was
built in 26 hours and provided
ongoing support until OEM became
self-sufficient.
For the Department of Law for
New York, our engineers moved
them and got them up and running
in a temporary location in order
to rebuild the networks in the
main building that were
destroyed from the 9/11 attacks.
When the restoration was
completed, our engineers
relocated the Department of Law
back to their original location.
